Product Description & Application: Triethanolamine (TEA) is a basic chemical raw material commonly used in various application fields. In the cosmetics industry, it is often used as an acid-base neutralizer and emulsifier; in cement processing, as a grinding aid; in concrete construction, as an early strength agent; in metal processing, as a cutting fluid, coolant, and rust inhibitor; in the electronics industry, as a surfactant, dispersant, and humectant; in the ink industry, as a solvent and additive; in rubber processing, commonly as a sulfurization activator for non-carbon black reinforcement materials, also serving as a dispersant and waterproofing agent; in skin trauma treatment agents, such as Biyafine (triethanolamine cream), as a main ingredient. Triethanolamine is also a raw material for chemical weapons; the triethanolamine-based synthesis of nitrilotriacetic acid is also widely used in the fine chemical industry.
Physical Properties: Triethanolamine is a colorless or light-yellow viscous liquid at room temperature, with an ammonia odor. It has a boiling point of 360℃ and freezing point of 21℃, and is completely soluble in water and ethanol.
Chemical Properties: Due to the presence of hydroxyl and amino functional groups in the molecular formula of triethanolamine, it exhibits properties of both amines and alcohols, and can react with acids to form esters, amide salts, etc.
Packaging: 230KG steel drum or 220KG plastic barrel; bulk products are transported by tanker truck.
Storage: Store in a clean, cool, dry and ventilated warehouse.
