Monoethanolamine is one of the basic chemical raw materials. In pharmaceutical industry, it is used to synthesize L-cysteine hydrochloride, taurine, anti-infective drugs such as furazolidone, morpholinobiguanide, ketoconazole, anti-parasitic drug tetraimidazole, and cardiovascular drug Persantin (dipyridamole), and in the veterinary drug industry is used to synthesize quinethanol. It is also applied to synthesize polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP), ethyleneimine, polyethylenimine, ethylenediamine, fluorescent brightener in textile industry, dyes in the dyeing industry, and neutralizers in the rubber and ink industries, and also be used in the manufacturing of surfactants, rust inhibitors, cleaning agents, preservatives, and paints.
Physical Properties: Monoethanolamine is a colorless, transparent, viscous liquid at room temperature, with an ammonia odor. It has a boiling point of 170℃ at atmospheric pressure and a freezing point of 10.5℃. It is highly hygroscopic and completely soluble in water and ethanol.
Chemical Properties: Due to the presence of hydroxyl and amino functional groups in the molecular formula of monoethanolamine, it exhibits the properties of both amines and alcohols. It can react with acids to form esters, amide salts, etc.
Package: 210KG per plastic drum; bulk products are transported by tanker truck.
Storage: Store in a clean, cool, dry and ventilated warehouse.
